About Stephen F. Mankowski, CPA

Stephen F. Mankowski, CPA, CGMA is the founder of Mankowski Associates CPA, LLC.  With over 35 years of accounting experience, he utilizes his vast expertise and knowledge to not only guide his clients through their unique tax and accounting issues, but also developed an ability to explain things in an easy-to-understand fashion.  This combination, along with a special caring for clients, makes Mankowski Associates a sought-after CPA firm, which separates them from many other accounting professionals.

Mr. Mankowski received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from La Salle University.  He is licensed by both Pennsylvania and Florida as a Certified Public Accountant and is qualified to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Mankowski is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP), where he served as National President from 2016 through 2018 and currently serves as Co-Chair of the National Tax Policy Committee.

Mr. Mankowski has been recognized numerous times by his peers.  Most recently, he was recognized by Accounting Today magazine in their annual Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting, an accolade earned on multiple occasions.  In addition, he has been invited to testify several times by the US House of Representatives Small Business Subcommittee on various Accounting and Taxation topics and has also been invited to participate in various Roundtable Discussions on small business tax reform.  He also represents NCCPAP at meetings with the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Mankowski is a well-known lecturer on topics including accounting, tax, business strategy, cybersecurity and ethics.  He has been published in Accounting Today, Tax Notes and the Journal of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners.

Mr. Mankowski has mastered his work/life balance and the encourages the same in his clients.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the golf course, bike riding, racquet sports, reading and spending time with friends and family.
